Hi, I’m Therese. I’m a Chicago native and UIUC grad now living in Minneapolis. I'm still discovering this city and would love nothing more than to photograph love stories all over it. With a BFA in photography and work shown at the Krannert Art Museum and Lenscratch, I look at a wedding day through an artist’s lens. I focus on composition, interesting shadows, and cinematic light rather than just standard, posed smiles.

Before photography, I spent two years teaching art and special education. That time taught me how to make people feel completely comfortable and safe to be themselves. I love having fun and keeping things light, because human comfort is the real secret to capturing great art. Couples have to feel relaxed to pull off those dramatic, stylized editorial portraits without looking forced.

I don't think your wedding fits into a single box. Whether I'm capturing the quiet, candid moments of a sunlit morning or handling a multi-day destination wedding, I treat every celebration with high-end care. I love working with diverse love stories, honoring real family dynamics, and making sure everyone feels seen.

When I don't have a camera in hand, you can find me exploring Twin Cities art museums, hunting down the best gluten-free bakeries, or listening to music.
